BiWin has announced a new RAM kit. BiWin has announced a massive 192GB Black Opal kit. In terms of frequency, the memory will run at 6400 MT/s, and the design is really attractive. On the other hand, given the capacity, don’t expect an Eco+ price – we’re light years away from that!

BiWin Black Opal: a 192 GB RAM kit with maximum 6400 MT/s!

On the program, the brand is offering a memory kit with a maximum capacity of 192 GB. As you can imagine, to achieve this capacity, Biwin is offering four memory sticks, each with 48 GB of memory. The aim of such a large capacity? To be able to handle a maximum amount of data, as might be the case with LLM management, for example.

In the meantime, performance should be up to scratch. In fact, the brand is announcing maximum frequencies of 6400 MT/s. However, a 6000 MT/s version will also be offered. In terms of latency, we are told that the timings are 30-39-39-108 for the first kit, compared with 28-36-36-102 for the second. As for voltage, both sets will run at 1.4V… All the while incorporating AMD Expo profiles.

The reliability of these kits has been tested on motherboards from MSI and Gigabyte equipped with an X870 chipset. But that’s all we know.

In short, this is memory that also has an attractive design. As you can see, the heatsink has a gold pattern on a black background. Incidentally, the patterns briefly remind us of the gear patterns used by ASRock and its Taichi series… Except that here, they are clocks. Finally, there is an RGB lighting system with a luminous diffuser on the top. On the other hand, you’ll have to be careful about the height of the bars with an air-cooling ventirad.

As for price, expect to pay $849, the price of an RX 9070 XT on the market today.
