Last August, we learned that Corsair was launching a new accessory to perfect your setups. Indeed, the brand offered its Xeneon Edge 14.5″ add-on screen, a touch-sensitive model to be integrated on your desktop or in your PC. Just recently, the brand announced its Frame 4000D LCD RS aRGB case, with this screen integrated directly into the side panel. Today, Corsair unveils two new colors and upgrades its guarantees!
Xeneon Edge 14.5″: announced in purple and white!
As a reminder, with this display Corsair offers a 14.5″ touchscreen model with five pressure levels. It features an AHVA panel with 2560×720 resolution, 16.7 million colors and 350 cd/m² brightness, all at 60 Hz. Initially available in black, this model now arrives in two new colors: white and Atomic Purple. This new purple version also features a translucent plastic surround reminiscent of the treatment on certain GameBoy Color models (yes, it’s THE GameBoy)!
Of course, this screen will allow you to monitor your system’s information in real time, such as temperatures, frequencies and so on. But you’ll also be able to display various widgets, such as your Twitch chat if you’re streaming, or Stream Deck shortcuts.
As for integration into your setup, Corsair is rather permissive with its display. It will be possible to install it in a PC on a 360 mm radiator slot. Alternatively, side-panel mounting is also possible for the Frame 4000D, while it will be possible to attach it to an Elgato Multi-Mount arm.
Finally, it can be connected to your PC via a USB-C DP-ALT or HDMI connector.
Once again, the bill won’t be cheap, as this display sells for €259.90. Corsair is also taking the opportunity to extend its warranty from two to three years, and to add a zero dead pixels guarantee!
