Computex is next week, and DeepCool has released a teaser image on its Facebook profile. The image shows the top of an air-cooler with a wooden covering. Like Lian Li and Fractal Design, will the Chinese brand be using wood on its products? Clearly, yes!

DeepCool: towards a series of wooden products exhibited at Computex!

Obviously, we can’t be exhaustive on the subject, but what the brand is sharing with us is the upper part of the cooler. On the latter, we can see wooden top covers on what looks like a new version of the AK620. As a reminder, this is a double-tower air-cooler, which has already been available in a number of versions, including a Digital model with a digital display on the top of the heatsink. Now, if the AK620 is covered by this wood finish, we imagine that the other models will also be covered by this finish.

Now it remains to be seen whether this treatment will be applied to other product ranges from the brand, such as cases or even, why not, AIOs. On the sides of the radiators, there’s a way of doing something rather clean and neat.
