Aidan Pawson, Managing Director of Zicket, was named Best Event Technologist at the Event Technology Awards 2025 in London.

Since launching Zicket in 2018 as part of The Great Entertainment Group, Aidan has transformed how events operate across Asia. The company has now processed over 17 million tickets through its ticketing platform, facilitated over 22 million RFID transactions, and powered events and attractions welcoming millions of attendees across the region, including AIA Carnival, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, and many more.

Aidan’s strength lies in identifying best-in-class technologies and integrating them into cohesive solutions that work for organisers. His experience running events before building event tech gives him unique insight into what organisers actually need. Combined with deep technical knowledge and a passion for innovation, he’s consistently delivered comprehensive systems that solve real operational challenges rather than adding complexity.

That dual perspective has enabled remarkable client success stories. Zicket powered Cirque du Soleil’s return to Hong Kong, demonstrating the platform’s capabilities at the highest level.

Working with Magic Room, Aidan helped scale their events to multiple sellouts at major venues.

Recent milestones include winning double Gold at the Asia eCommerce Awards 2025 and expanding operations across Singapore, Macau, Abu Dhabi, and the Greater Bay Area. Jav Hanif, Zicket’s Head of Operations, was also shortlisted for Event Tech Rising Star at the same awards.

This recognition reflects Zicket’s growing influence in transforming how events operate across Asia and beyond, with further innovation and expansion planned for the years ahead.
